Tell us something about you that most people don't know about.
Ans: No matter how much I try, I’d still feel bad about some things I could’ve done better in the past. An example was when I was about 7 years old and was outside with my family. I saw a couple rushing past us trying to get somewhere fast and accidentally dropped both their passports. I was going to tell them but I felt too shy about it. God knows how much trouble they’d have to go through for new passports.
What is one memory that you will never forget?
Ans: When I was about 9 years old, I still had the time to play with my neighbourhood friends everyday after school as I didn’t really have a lot of work to do back then. Everyday, we would just go out and either play basketball, soccer, play in the playground, or cycle around the compound. There was this one day when I went out to bike with my friends, and when we turned to a road and went a little bit further, a car turned from the same spot. For my own safety, I slowly cycled on the side of the road instead to let the car pass through first. But my friends were a little impatient, and instead of waiting for the car, they sped up and cycled away. I didn’t follow them because I did not want to risk it, so I continued to cycle by myself slowly. I looked at the car, waiting for it to pass, and then I looked back forward. Until this day, I still do not know what happened next. Because the only thing I remembered after this, was waking up on the road, crying with blood all over my face. I’d say it was good timing as my friends came back just when I regained consciousness. They brought me back to my house, and while freaking out, my mum brought me for a check up at a hospital. Thankfully, the only thing I had were swollen lips. Then I wondered, if that was my only wound, how was my face so bloody? The thing is, I still cannot figure out why. Isn’t it ironic how I was the one trying to stay safe, but was the one that got injured? But thank God that I am still alive and healthy right this moment.

Ans: Only counting junior and senior school, it takes up 12 years of your life. It might feel like it’s your entire life and you’d be here ‘forever’ because that’s how I feel. But I was certainly wrong because I only have a year and a half left in school and time is almost up. What you have now, appreciate and use it to the fullest because 12 years might be a long time, but life after that will be much longer where you have to be independent instead of relying on your parents. Do well in school and you won’t regret it. It’s better to work hard for these 12 years than to struggle through the rest of your life.
